I saw this on another forum.
60 up on a red motor is a no go.
If there is corrosion in the block also forget it.
This one went through to the water jackets.
At least get it sonic tested after a rebore.

Most 5L blocks are getting old now, and corrosion is getting into the water jackets, and core shift is also playing its part. The only way to rectify this is to get the bore sleeved.

IF you were to get it sleeved, it might be possible to have 4.125" sl

Those pics are of my mates block.
Its 60th over but had a very bad corrosion problem.
Judge each block on its merits I say.
