hey yall,
my latest van has a radio in it, that when you turn it on, it goes for a bit, then cuts out, with a message of "code".
anyone know how to fix this?

I assume it is a factory ford radio? If you do not know the vehicles ID it came out of I do not think Ford can help as they have no recollection of serial numbers on the radio itself, But I could be wrong. If it is the factory radio for that van, then For

it is factory, and even has all the books in the glove box,
maybe the number is in there?

I had this problem with an EA. Ford only keep the code numbers for TEN years, if it's older than that you have to remove the radio and find the serial number somewhere on it, usually a sticker on the body of the radio, then ring the manufacturer/importer

Read the radio books BCB. There should be something in them. The code will hopefully be printed on one of the inside or back covers

will do, just been a bit lazy,, not true really, been doing the camper roof cut out, working on airbag lifters for the poptopfloor, [my own design], putting gas compartments in, internal uphosltery, etc etc,,apart from that,
