what is a hdt vl sport, v8 manual, 100,000 k's in good condition worth?

Hard to say, as there are lots of variables, but probably anywhere from $20-30K to most buyers, but you may get lucky & get more if it's a desireable colour or has certain desireable options (like a HDT fitted T5G for example).

it was originally a bt1, fitted up with hdt gear (kit, carby, crank, heads etc) in 1995 by hdt in WA, im looking at buying the car but cannot be sure if its genuine
hdt: build wa34, date 12/95, model vl/s model: vl8vk19-bt1 body number 253063-a trim

Sorry, but these are not classed as a genuine HDT in the same vein as a Brock. In fact, it's just like you or I grabbing the bits & fitting them ourselves, to an 8 year old car, and stamping a plate. WA is more like a tuning shop for |

As I noted briefly above, WA builds are not recognised as 'Brocks' and quite often don't follow the 'rules' as such - WA builds were somewhat dubious in their origins (just like the BT1), and the amount of work done before a HDT plate was fitted etc etc.

its an ex cop car, standard sl trim, made manual by bill lee. its a bit rough, wont be paying the asking price but its a lot cheaper than a real hdt
