hey guys
i have a hk ute with trim code 1172-12F it seems a bit strange someone once told me it was a south African trim.the ute was built in sydney and stayed here ever since.any help would be good.

Ermine white Kingswood ute with goya red interior and bench seat. Nothing out of the ordinary.

hey warren
i thought goya red was 12x.this trim may be goya red but the pattern is different.
i tryed to get the same trim made years ago and they couldnt make it due to not having a pattern for this.so ihad to get the standard pattern which is a lot d

Yes 12X is goya red but only in a Monaro, as I said 12F is goya red in Kingswood with bench seat 12A, 12B, 12K are also goya red and 12G and 12H are goya red with cloth insert.

The pattern on the seat itself is also different between these, as 12A and

thanks for that info warren it is very helpful, dispels the myth.

i still have the original trims they had a ribbed vertical chrome strip bout inch wide and stainless trim on top but no other strips .
who would be the best people to speak to about the

I take it you mean the door trims by the description. As there is no real demand for Kingswood trims I doubt the repo people would do them.

hkute68, you will need to look at the seat mounting points to determine if the vehicle had a bench or bucket seats fitted from factory as 12F does not describe the type of seating fitted. If the vehicle was a South African model it would not have the TRIM

the ute had bench seat from factory.
and we have determined that the trims are not south African but just standard kingswood trims.
i still need help finding someone to make new ones or new old stock to suit front doors in goya red.
