Hi,

I'm doing a resto on a HJ GTS/4 and I'd like to know what wheels were an option when new. I know the GTS wheels were standard but I've seen plenty of pics with the silver honeycombs fitted. Were they an option on the HJ?

Ive found in the past that the finish on the HJ-HZ GTS honeycombs is different to the LE rims. The LE rims seem to have a thick paint or finish on them whereas the silver appears to be much thinner and not glossy. Not sure if this was as they were or how

12 months ago I purchased a HJ GTS 4 from the original owner. He purchased the car as a demo from City Motors in Perth. As a demo car it was optioned for marketing reasons. This car is as original as I could imagine and still has the original set of honey

In top-tests number 7 (1975?) there is a roadtest of a HJ GTS sedan. its mandarin red, front and rear spoilers, vinyl top, 308, sunroof, ps, etc - fully loaded. it has the honeycomb rims in silver and NO trim-rings.
the car looks awesome btw. dunno why,
