i still think its good for everyone to signup, this is an "online community". I just cant beleive it has come to this extent, if you really want to have access to the excellent knowledge passed through these forums, then signup. If you misbehave you get b

I support public viewing and members only posts.
Considering that the law is rounding up pedophiles through their ISP's I think anybody who posts maliciously anon or not is leaving themselves wide open.
So, Yes from me.

Definately there is nothing worse than trying to read a thread that has been clogged up with anon crap... Its not that hard to sign up and if you tick remember me it is no different...

I vote yes and no but I am not sitting on the fence. Yes ban anonymous replies but still allow anon's to start a thread and continue to reply in that thread dependent on their IP address (as someone has previously suggested because the might have a Edited by user Sunday, 15 June 2008 8:01:52 AM(UTC)

This was tried 2 or 3 years ago and the forum nearly died. it has still not really recovered, compare with oldholden.
Simply take the attitude that if the poster wont identify himself then he probably doesnt have have anything important to say.

Just wanted to let you all know that something is actually happening in relation to this thread. I've arranged a meeting with the IT department next week to look at ways we can fix this problem. It appears at this point that their is an overwh

I for one have changed my mind,,
the ford forum does not have this much truble,,mainly becauseof the moderators doing a good job,
they run it with an iron fist, the ford moderators???
so all this hoo haa could have been avoided, just by the moderators |
