Attn LEITH - petition to ban anonymous posts

Why not have LEITH stay in the same current position as site admin. Access to all parts of the forum and if there are any disputes he can sort it out. Then ask trusted members to monitor the 7 sections of the Holden forum. (7 trusted members) This way no Edited by user Thursday, 19 June 2008 4:26:28 PM(UTC)

i agree that it is better for every one to be a member so they are acounterable for there actions but- i have tried to join 3 times in 2 weeks, i fill out the form and hit the submit button and wait about 5 minutes and it said that the conection has been

HI All,
Very difficult to do what a lot of you are asking it may kill the ford section and also make the Holden side very slow, I agree with you all we could all do with out the bulls**t but there are a lot of people who find and now enjoy this site b

maybe more incentives and new prizes in the auctions will get more people to sign up!! im sure members work/companies could donate stuff for them too??

Could nt agree more guys ,, I think that u should only be alowed to log on as an annon poster half a dozen times , and then be asked to join in as a member , it is generally theese people who give people a hard time on here , I know i have been on the rec

all this site needs is a decent moderator, let the annon posters post whatever they like, anything that is rude or not in good taste should be deleated by a moderator imidiatly...
i have posted a car for sale on this website in the past and got abused,

Leith has placed more moderators on lately to get rid of the abusive posts. I have recently been made a moderator on the Ford side of Fastlane and delete/edit anything that I deem is abusive. I am relatively new here and can only afford about 3-4 hours a week in being a part of Fastlane. I have been slowly going back through posts (there are so so many of them) and can say that many anon posters have some great input. I notice that just yester

It takes only a couple of minutes to register and Firefox remembers login password
etc.so it's only one click to login each time, a couple of secs each time.

When a topic/thread is deleted, it simply disappears for all - including mods/admin.
The only threads deleted are ones kicked off that are blatant racism, member attacks, or for-sales in the technical discussion area - and there is no need to start ano |
