I have an EH sedan and I know the price of petrol has me considering selling as I am finding it difficult to run my normal every day car on top of having to find the money for petrol for my once a week run for my EH.
Perhaps I may just have to face up to the fact I can't afford 2 cars and the EH will have to go...... but guys it would break my heart to have to do so !!!
Do you think the cost of petrol will force ordinary income earners to sell their classic car and how do you think the petrol price will affect the sales value of these cars ?

When it reaches $2.00 I'll scrap our v8 and just use the 6 cylinder, that is untill it reaches $3.00 and at that stage it'll have to give up the hookers just to pay for the fuel.

This "fuel crisis" is a major beat-up by the oil barons, limiting the amount of oil produced, pushing up prices of a barrel of oil.Funny how the car manufacturers have seen the light and have decided to push on with alternative fuels and suddenly Saudi Arab

one good thing is high prices keep a lot of idiots off the road.
but the new v8 s are getting 30 mpg so that is pretty good economy, but to hit the oil price the only response is for everyone to stop buying from the one company till the price goes down s

A news article on the front page of the local fish and chips rapper about fuel prices made me laugh.

She said she did 100 kms a week in a Tarago, and it was costing too much, but dropping the kids to sport during the week and trips from Newcastle to Po

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

Id rather drive my 253HQ Tonner that gives me about 18/19 MPG than some rice-rocket that gives 35MPG, no matter what the price.
