took the car to a auto electrician today. had a new plug fitted to the coolant sensor, and the car still plays up. sent a message to inject a carb and they said either plug on coolant sensor, afm or high fuel pressure. the auto electrician checked the afm and said it was fine.been on other sites where people are having the same problems, afm or fuel problems are the most common replys. afm from holden is 550. better off getting another engine.got a afm from wreckers for 55 and still no luck. anyone? anything?

Hi cage000

What is you exact problem, has this been ascertained yet ? In other words, what are the symptoms ?

VLs were nice when they were new, but now theyre 20+ years old, you can write a book on all the gremlins they have.

I see heaps of VLs

Hi Guys.

As I mentioned, my preferred method of diagnosis is to measure things.

Fit a fuel pressure gauge just before the fuel rail & take the car for a drive. See what the pressure does while the fault is occurring. This checks out the entire liqui
