my wifes vx supercharger has developed a bad sqeek under acceleration it seems to b comeing from pully at end of snout has any one had one of these repaird as not 1 mech even gmh dealer has been able to help me thanks

Hi you might have better luck if you do a search in L67Torque its an Australian site dedicated to Holdens V6 Supercharged engine

I had the same problem sometimes. When i changed the charger pulley to a smaller one to wind up the boost,,noise was gone, however came back in a few months. Take the belt off, clean all pulleys thouroughly, with kero and a toothbrush if you have too!! Th

thanks paul thanks for your response cleaned all pullys and put a new belt on and that seems to have fixed noise cherrs

Hope the squeek stays gone, but remember, winter is a bit more common for squeeks. What i also did was inspect the belt, and clean out any crap in the grooves. But it has been a common problem All the best |
