G'day Fellas, I'm into Old Holdens and do not know too much about the newer ones. My son has a VS Commodore. Will a 5 speed out of a VN 6 fit up to the Ecotech in the VS?
Cheers, Pete. Old Holdens never die, they just go faster. |

The manual and auto VNs are different in the rear and you cannot convert a auto engine to manual, without changing crank and maybe some other bits, so if the VS is auto I think you will find it will not go.
Someone might make a manual conversion kit, b

its the other way around...vn series 1 has auto and manual cranks..a 5 speed from a vn will go to a vs but you cant use the vn flywheel as it is 6 bolt..you need an 8 bolt flywheel...also there are some other fun bits like harness etc needed from another |
