Hi,
Interested to know more and see more pics about the
HQ "Watersplash" and also the "Super-Chicken" Decals.

Does anyone have any pics? or know anything about them?

there was a nos set at bendigo swap the other year for $300. it was the water splash.

I definateley have the original colour superchicken brochure.... it shows the chook on a ute... i havent seen it for a while... dont think it had the watersplash on it but i could be wrong.....

I have the original footage from the motor show on video of that year in colour(no sound)showing a Superchicken Panel Van and a magazine article .
I know some one with NOS Decals , both types , the splash and chicken but he wants $10 Grand each set as th

HQGTS - mate any chance you can see if you can find it one day?> would be interested to see it. I have a copy of the brosure but would be interesting to see if its any diferent to the one i have...

What is that UGLY 4 door HQ looking thing in the video?? It is horrid. Looks like someone still on a 1960's acid trip put it together!

haha you not a fan i take it byron? ill be honest.... its diferent and i kind of like it. nearly looks a bit mopar though. very diferent to its original HQ? self...

It obviously has Oldsmobile style bonnet scoops(which look great on an Olds) but the bumperwork is pretty average.....wonder what that car had under the bonnet, and what became of it? Did it have a name other than UGLY 4 door HQ?

Just out of curiousity, what would the purpose of said HQ be? The VT coupe was a "styling exercise" and from memory the Hurricane was a "concept car" but that HQ doesn't really fit either of those moulds. But it is very similar to some of the way out pane
