Hi Greg have heard on the grapevine that the Car is very tired ,its been through the ringer and needs a full full resto . Body apparently has either damage, poor repairs , or rust in each panel. The trim needs to be restored, wrong engine , wrong complete

He did say it needs money spent, its quite obvious John dory cannot afford it ( most fish cannot)and does not own one to sell.
Johns a bit like the bloke that hangs #hit on the price of houses but the minute he buys one wants it to triple in value.

That 4 door XW8 is particularly nice, and yes it needs work. $35k is probably a tiny bit rich (mid 20s might be closer but that is an opinion) but compared to the $ being paid for SLR5000s (of the non L34 or A9X variety) it is not that bad. Remember this |

A 350 auto in Aquamarine with doeskin/black trim is a pretty nice combo. The price is a bit high in my opinion but only because it doesnt have its original engine, otherwise it would be closer to the asking price. But in saying that, Greg has the right to

If you dont want it, dont buy it.

so whats an hq ls350 coupe with its right motor and attached correct parts and t400 column auto. delete vinyl roof worth?????.needs body and trim resto but mechanicals are perfect.phantom grey mark 1 with red vinyl trim.6/71 model.

My personal opinion is that in order of desirability HQ's run like this:
1837 closely followed by 469 XW8.
Then 1237 with L30 option.
Then 837 with L31, M21.
Then 480 Sandman with L31 M21.
Possibly then other GTS coupe combos and 1237 with L31.

Usually they dont even warrant a mention by most people.

interesting to see byron that all the experts who can knock a rare cars value down dont seem to want to put a value to this???.maybe i should dig it out and take pics so they can all see what i am talking about.
