I am restoring an HJ panel van but have an HX wiring loom ready to install. I have discovered, however, that where the wiring passes through the firewall, where the HJ had a square bakelite fitting, the HX had a round rubber grommet. Short of cutting a section and plating the square hole, can anybody suggest a solution to make the HX loom fit? Perhaps there is an aftermarket square grommet available?...Thanks

Just make up a plate from sheetmetal that bolts in using the screw holes for the original HQ/J plug and punch a hole in it the same size as HX-WB. Youll also have to convert it to HX-WB column as there isnt provision in the HX harness for the floor mounte
