hey fellas.. does anybody know what petrol tanks fit into an xc wagon and whats the biggest i can get(factory).. i'm getting sick of going to the gas station every 250kms, thanks, thomas

Your XC tank should be roughly 80 litres in capacity. If you are only getting 250km for 80 litres then you have a big problem with fuel economy as you are doing approx 32 litres per 100KM.

Any wagon tank up to and including EL should fit but will st

ahh.. round town i get 4km per liter and on the open road i get around 5.. i'm pretty sure my tank is 70 liters as the most ive ever been able to get into it is 68 liters, i always thought that my f/c was high especially with a 292 diff, i just thought it

same tank but worth a dollar these days.if ya not scared, cut the top out of a normal tank and flip the section over, ya need to reposition ya filler neck and wack in a couple of baffles too. I would be looking for a hole in ya fuel line presonally. i hav

hah.. thanks.. i think its just tuned way to rich, what are you getting per liter in your 378, i'm not to worried about price of the tank, the ones ive seen are around the 400 mark, just if its an easy swap with little mods

You should be addressing the issue with your fuel consumption before anything else. Seriously, check your fuel line and connections for leaks, change your carby. I had a 155 litre stainless drop tank made for my marquis for $2300. All the old tanks are a

the tank does leak a small amount a round the filler neck and breather when i fill it right up, all the fuel lines in the engine bay are new.. i'm pretty sure its not a leak as it consistently gets the same milage.. could anybody tell me what sort of mila

GEEEEZZZZUS your only getting abit over 3km per litre.

You should be getting at least 6 or 7km per litre!!!

I was getting an easy 7km per litre out of a 351 with a 232dur@50thou540lift cam,780 holley,2500stall and 3.9 gears,in a hardtop.
