Good new guys & gals, eBAY has dropped its bid to use Australia as a guinea pig to trial a new policy where all other modes of payment are barred except its own transaction gateway PayPal. As a result, direct deposits, personal cheques and money orders will continue to exist as allowing all existing payment methods on eBay.com.au. it is good but they still have you by the balls...to upload your auction you have to tick the box saying you accept paypal...and in thier rules it states that you must not say in your add that you do not accept paypal...ive had 2 auctions where people hav |

I have just won something on eBay and went to pay for it. A big logo comes up with "pay now via Paypal" I went back a page to confirm that the seller accepts other payment methods which he does so I went forward again for another look.

I have listed an item and added in the description `Prefered payment by bank deposit or money order-No fee` PayPal payment buyer incurs a $5.00 fee`.
PayPal is a hassle apart from fees you must go into an account to check if the money is there , then wit

By the looks of it cloudy your listing may be dropped because you discourage paypal.

I listed with a note in the description "paypal to overseas buyers only"
Ebay allowed it, and I know they saw it because I also said would be relisted on Oztion if not sold . Ebay withdrew it saying I had linked to another site and had listed goods for s
