Does anybody know if the 96,97 Statesman or Calais ever came out as a manual. IF so does anybody know where there is a complete wreck?

From VR onwards, all Berlina & Calais, and from VQ onwards, all Stato & Caprice, were auto only, with no manual option, not even as a special order delete option.

Massive job. The ECU & loom differ between manual & auto. The speed sensor is also different, and not compatible with the opposite type of computer.
SO you need to get the speedo sorted $$$$ and have the auto memcal reprogrammed to tell it to ignore |
