The key to Hybrid EVs belongs to the battery life. Once this has been developed into something that will last the distance, we wont be turning back in any direction. It would appear Nano wire or Nano tube battery technology is almost there. It just needs

We dont have enough labour to convert all of our raw materials, ie labour is scarce so cost is high, opposite of China.

yes very true hazzard county! i think the problem with it is storage?? so these units only produce hydrogen as you go, so with these units it is not enough to run on its own? but if good storage tanks can be made, then imagine a home solar unit produc |

Hey 'hazzard county' this is a bit like having a battery which is running an electric motor which turns a generator to charge the battery . . . . . . Energy just dosent work like that. You would have to be more than 100% efficient and thats imposable.

gday rig pig you make it sound like i'll be pissing into the wind.but funny enough there is a vt commodore running around adelaide on hydrogen gas only which uses one of these units & apparently it uses very little generated energy to produce the hydrog Edited by user Friday, 1 August 2008 9:00:27 AM(UTC)

hey hazzard, what rigpig has said is correct, if it was really efficient like 80% fuel saving, it would mean the ice is something like 120% efficient? although??/ if the power required to produce the hydrogen, is 80%efficient? you might find a fuel |
