This question pops up from time to time so I will just nip it in the bud now.
The best looking car is the HK GTS, followed by the HG GTS and lastly the HT GTS with all its clunky trim lines and busy adornments.
Amongst the sedans of this era, the HK Kingswood is the best looking, followed by HG Premier, then anything else (they dont matter).
HTH

I sort of agree. Id say the HK GTS is the best looking. Not too many will argue with that. Id then go a HK Monaro, followed by a HT GTS in certain colours with the HG GTS coming next.
Sedan wise I agree on the HK Kingswood, but followed by HK Premier. |

Im biased towards post-1978 models..... but my favourite Monaro would have to be a HK GTS - the tail light strip at the back, and the chrome grille bars at the front.
As far as sedans, I like the Prem roofline & rear glass, so Id have to say HK Prem!

I only staretd liking HKs Gs and Ts when they started getting expensive. All of a sudden I want one. Honestly they never did it for me . . . . . . . but now Ill swap :-)
If they were the same price as a HQ then Id go the HQ.

HQ is the best by far. HK-T-G just dont have the sexy styling the HQ has.. Sorry guys, but I agree with RigPig, they never did it for me, and still dont, and they are overpriced

I am on my own here but I have always liked the HT350 monaro. Followed by HT kingswood, premier, even though it was the model that introduced the non metal grilles. Cheers Rob.

Lets face it they are all heaps of #hit to drive but thats what makes them fun, I have a coupe 4 as well as a HT350 manual and HQ Coupe and its the old ones that are most fun to wrestle around with.

The HK and HT monaros won Bathurst and because of that they are the best. The monaro that has multiplied the most in price from new would have to be the most desiarble monaro by demand because most people like them.Because of this people tend to get use t

Taste is an odd thing eh? I've never liked HK sedans because of the tail lights, I do like the HK GTS though. My first car was a HG kingswood and I always wanted a HG prem. I now have a HG GTS and a HT Brougham but my favorite holden body shape is the HQ
