Taste is an odd thing eh? I've never liked HK sedans because of the tail lights, I do like the HK GTS though. My first car was a HG kingswood and I always wanted a HG prem. I now have a HG GTS and a HT Brougham but my favorite holden body shape is the HQ

my favourite in original trim is the HK GTS Ermine white with Goya red interior...... very nice

my favourite as a street machine with big wheels, lowered with a couple of 650 double pumpers out the bonnet would be the HQ coupe

I like the HG GTS 350 with the stripes and twin bonnet nostrils, for HQs the GTS Coupe again with stripes and for the newer body the GTO with AWD.

As the title of this thread is "The greatest Monaro of all time", why are other cars being mentioned? The greatest Monaro of all time is the HT GTS 350. AMC clearly proved this with the ATCC winning Beechey beast clearly ahead of every other car in the ru

Beecheys car was a race car with a factory shell and far from stock so comparisons to a CV8 are off the mark.

Hi JBM,

The comparison with the CV8 was with a standard HT GTS 350 running standard wheel alignment settings and standard ER70H14 radial tyres. The Beechey car was mentioned as "The greatest Monaro off all time". The HT GTS 350 is the clear winner all-

80737k says it all in regard to 4 door Monaros. Holden should have called the HQ GTS sedans and all that followed 'SS' as they are not a Monaro. They don't have 37 as body style do they? They would prolly have more cred these days as the SS is still made
