Yes it is about critera.

If we go on sales success then no question HK GTS and HK GTS 327 for the top line model. (as Monaro was an absolute flop in this regard, then should not be considered when judging by sales)

Best performance, then VZ. No earl

I think Byron means that the HK stripe treatment is so awkward and not HT. The HT was and still is the best. Central location on the bonnet and boot of the rally stripes is spot on. In HK they were originally designed to mimic a race car which had a strip

It is comparing cherries and lemons. HT GTS 350 is cheery and all others are lemons.

It's amazing the poles of opinion, and all healthy stuff too. We can't all like the same cars, otherwise as my punchline says - who'd buy the Fords?
Stripe Treatment, arse about. HT stripes are awkward. HK are classy. HT looks good, but not as good as HK

Warren Turnbull suggests VZ Monaro for performance. Wrong answer as V2II was the fastest. As for the fuel consumption, mate put your foot down when you drive. A VZ driven with verve will average between 56-63 litres/100km. Any car with an engine around 5.

The HK model is inferior to the HT in a number of areas. 1. Wiper sweep 2. Tachometer placement 3. Interior trim design 4. Stripes/blackout treatment 5. dashboard design - speedo and gauges. Having owned 307M, 307A, and 327 GTS models for considerable tim

Again, looks are subjective. To me HK looks better in all departments especially the rear treatment. HT to me looks awkward. Therefore to me on looks HK wins, on performance HT/G wins. Just an opinion. Been looking at the things for years.

Seriously I'm not surprised that a Ford fan finds the HK ugly and insignificant. They worship the Phase III and the two cars that really should be highly valued are the XR GT and the RPO83. These two (to me) are the Ford equivalents of the HK GTS327 and t

well Byron, I find the most amusing part is that anything KTG - especially K, was pretty much mollified and hated 20 years ago. There was only a handful of us unconnected individualists who knew great design when we saw it and allowed our collections and

For overall class and beauty its without a doubt the HK GTS Monaro warwick yellow/black stripes with black trim, redwall tyres, stock as a rock to look at with all the trimmings but lowered to the ground and fitted with a worked 383 chev and it sounds lik
