Hello chrome yella (Gary),

Your L34 is the only example with 214 as retail dealer and as such it could be the car used for PR purposes in Victoria. The photo on the cover of October 1974 Wheels is taken at Calder but the date is unknown. Chrome Yellow

Hi mrhqute,

An interesting comment, even to the point that perhaps the whole object of Fastlane may need to be either questioned or explained in detail for all to benefit. The reasons are due to the fact that you have made a statement about the input o

For Dr Terry,

I didnt work at Dandenong but some of my mates did. I will ask them about what happened with the wheels you are enquiring about. They were good with the photos of my car so you might be in luck here.

Sorry for not reading the full post

For Dr Terry,

The guys I know who worked at Dandenong in the 70s cannot recall any XU-1 Toranas. The feeling is that they never made any there. GTRs were made but only for certain seasons. They can recall the L34 and A9X though.

For Mick OBrien,
