what would a set of silver mink hk 327 id plates be worth?
i have both the big one and the skinny one but am missing the other tag.
i have been told $5000 plus by some guys.
what do you guys reckon?

Have a look at the HK GTS327 body in the Ebay link below. It is basically F&%ked but it has one thing your tags dont - the chassis number, and the tags are still attached to the body, which athough it may seem silly is quite legitimate. So use that as a g |

It is illegal to sell tags and the monaro on sale at ebay didnt have front end so where is the body stamping ? The goose that put up about being worth $5000 should be tracked down and police should visit him as he is obviously after money for them and to

About that 81837 shell on ebay,
Option 1, say we will rebuild that shell, buy a turret a rear quarter, all the panels, front end and all the other bits & pieces etc fix the rust, buy the drivetrain & trim, chew up thousands of manhours and we will hav

At the end of the day, the tags are just a PART of the Monaro. Should we cull every eBay auction that is offering genuine 327 parts as someone MAY use them to mock a base model?
If so, why not take it further...

or those shells are all monaros and why can't you rebody to save a very special car.

So you would pay 200k hypothetically for a genuine hk 327 in now day prices 2008 and find out later it was a reshell possibly a base model shell and was told its a 1 owner car that was a 327 .
And youd be happy to part with 200k YEA

First of i agree with everyone on this one but at the same time i think that the tags could be worth any thing from 5 bucks upto 10,000 even cause if you love your car and can't afford the real deal whats wrong with buying them to finish of your toy unles
