Does anyone know if this type of shifter can legally be fitted to road registered vehicle in Qld.

Shifters arnt part of the safety certificate, so just use it.

If it has a neutral start safety switch (inhibitor switch) and a reverse lights switch, as well as lockouts to prevent unintentional movement out of Park, and finally, an illuminated indication of what gear is selected, THEN it will be legal!

Hi commodorenut, Thanks for the information, what I was getting at is passing a safety certificate for registration purposes. These Hurst shifters have all those specifications and it comes with a lite panel showing what gear your in, I saw this setup in
