does any one know why some id tags are stamped from the top and some are pressed from behind at the same production plant. some cars have a mix of both type of id tag ooowwww yeh! thats what im talkin bout! Edited by user Saturday, 9 August 2008 4:28:36 AM(UTC)

Mainly Elizabeth BODY tags are stamped down, and as Elizabeth plant produced complete bodies for other plants in some models (eg van and tonner) you get a mixture as these normally got VIN and ADR tags from the assembly plant. Also very early examples of |
