hey there, I have got a 1978 XC Fairmont - fully rebuilt and in excellent condition. Sadly it is finally time to sell the old girl. Any tips on where to sell and pricing would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Not worth a whole lot I'm afraid. It looks nice but without more details anywhere from $2000 to $3000.....but i'd be thinking it will be closer to the bottom of the scale.

Nice 351 GXL's with good options still aren't demanding big dollars and

he's right you know.

I sold a real good 351 manual XC sedan with a 9" a little while ago for 2 grand and was lucky to get it.

They're not worth anything I'm afraid.

Here are some more detail....
1978 XC Fairmont. Re-built 4.9L Cleveland, 600 Holley carburetor, re-built 4spd manual Borg Warner gearbox. Straight panels with no rust. Immaculate interior. Good sound system with amplifier and sub-woofer (optional)

cheers for the comments - yeah i think mine is in heaps better condition but its definitely good to have some sort of comparison. Its a factory V8, immaculate inside and out. Only things that might need some work are - fuel gage is a bit dodgey (reads inc
