was closing last week took it out for a cruise now it wont close fully? it clicks on the first position but wont click on the 2nd position to make it close properly and flush.Ive adjusted the the latch 300 times and it makes no difference one click only and wont close flush with the panel.i can tell you its a frustrating any thoughts?? if the door seals are new. it will be hard to close

yes they are new but they were put on about 6 months back admitedly i dont drive it daily but why all of a sudden and ive adjusted the pillar bracket out as far as it goes and still wont shut properly . Ive also checked the passenger door striker and that

Happened to me on an old KIngy I had, ended up being a worn out lock mechanism (the part inside the door). The only other thing (surely its too simple!), but is the inside door handle returned to its resting position, if its stuck open the door will not |
202 and three on the tree, can't get more Aussie than that!! |

Thanks Guys ive tried the window trick and the handle springs back i am now starting to think the mechanism inside the door is Roo Ted even though it clicks if you turn it by hand maybe cause its cooler now/winter the rubbers are harder and has sprung the

Try moving the catch on the pillar to it's furtherest outward point and see if you have 2 clicks then. If so, and the door is then loose, move the catch inward till you find a "balance". The best way to achieve this is to "nip" the catch screws and adju

Hi Casper have tried what you suggested to no success ,I have come to the conclusion i need another internal door catch. Dont know of any as i am now looking for one for my lc cheers daz

dont try to force the door close when you adjust it. i had a LC and i broke the window frame just up from the handle side forcing it closed.
