Hi all seeking some advise on an engine for a wb ute. I have to six cylinder due to P plate licence restrictions.
Performance exchange motor with oversize ACL Race series pistons, ACL Race series molly rings, bigger valves, new springs, 20/60 CROW cam, new lifters,Race series bearings, high volume oil pump, ACL Race series gasket set and fully balanced. Price is around $3000 - is that ok for this type of engine?
Also would I need anything else such as carburetter, electric fuel pump etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Surely someone can tell me if this is a good combination or not, together with recommendation for carby etc. This is my first car and dont want to waste my money. I would really appreciate the feedback.

It sounds like a ****er package. It will not be better just because it has race series bits all through it and a hi vol oil pump. In fact, I would lose the hi vol oil pump and fit a standard one. The trick is to just fix all the internal oil leaks in the
