I think the most famous HK GTS 327 export car was that featured in the English "Motor" mag. Warwick Yellow with black trim and having power steering and radial tyres, it took the Brits by surprise somewhat. No LHD cars were ever built for th

I have pics of a bright blue HK GTS in thailand when i was there last year
AFTER 1972 THERE AINT NO MUSCLE CARS AND MATCHING NUMBERS ARE FOR TIMES TABLES....

I remember in my youth as a snork at Qantas in the late sixties seeing a 707 freighter being loaded with a few pre release HK RHD Monaro's for shipment to the goood 'ol US of A. All very secret stuff as the aeroplane was away from public view and the cars

Very interesting comments here.
1) the car is a custom Kingswood as these are the tags on the firewall of the car he kept.
2) the parts left are the same on both Kingswood and Monaro.
3) Technically you couold call it a re-birth, as the Moanro co

What a great idea,I,ve got a rusty floorpan HT Kingswood and a good HT GTS Monaro,I can finaly get the Kingswood back on the road.Does this make this car a custom Kingswood or a HT 4 door monaro.Lucky I kept those HQ Statesman tail lights. They will look

But, and it is a big but (pun intended), what do we call either 'option'. A Monawood or a Kingaro? Warren is spot on with the description but what if both cars were stolen? This is not a re-birth but a still birth! Lets call it a

Technically I would call it a Kingswood until he swaps a substantial amount of Monaro firewall back in if you know what I mean.
Does it really matter its still a genuine Holden HT.

either way I would say some one has given th epoor guy greaff Ive seen this link on several forums (Im a bit of a foum slut) and I just went ot check for an up date and its no longer availabel
