thats correct rosenberg, 351M was introduced as std fitment to full size fords in August 1974,which makes it US 1975, to replace the 351C which was no longer being offered from the year before,and to replace that shocking 400M. I was mistaken in an earlie

RPO 83 most were released in jan-march 1973 only XA all 4V all very FAST!
mine was a coupe 4speed long ratio toploader box 3;00 9inch lsd , 351 4v solid
cap lifters = 440 hp (so im told?), very different drive to a 2V auto gt ..lol...true figures! and

Long wheelbase cars are not muscle cars. And neither are cars with more than two doors. They might be classed as muscular cars but they sure as hell are not muscle cars. Interesting how muscle car enthusiasts in the United States love the Ford ABC hardtop

RPO 83 had a HYD cam. a bit bigger, 286 in 280 exh, then the STD 258 in 266 exh. & 4v heads. 11.0:1 comp, and a bigger carby 780 cfm. the XA-B GT got a 605 cfm with 9.5:1 comp. a GT-HO had more power then the RPO 83.

yeah i reckon they were as i looked at them and they were hyd but had caps fitted to them making them solid..cheers jim ps i would have to dissagree that the 3 had more power than the rpo...sorry(there wouldnt be much in it anyway)

No typo. Apparantly the very first (presumedly from Elizabeth) HT "GTS350" was fitted with a type 2 327. i was wondering if this is the car that was mentioned as coming up for sale.
