hey dudes I just brought a HX statesman but it had a glove box fire
or so I'm told . I have one but it doesn't fit is it because it's not an aircon glove box (if there's a difference) or because it's from a different modle (ie.hj-hx-hz) does this sound right or should they all be the same .thanx dude's

i thought they where all the same mate. never noticed any diference. apart from the tyre placard and also the glovebox lock colour.

I think he was talking about the glovebox not the lid. I fitted factory air to my HJ and it fitted behind my original glovebox so I don't think they are too different.

I think he was talking about the glovebox not the lid. I fitted factory air to my HJ and it fitted behind my original glovebox so I dont think they are too different.

when it's a dealer fitted air con (not factory fitted) they chop off the back of the glove box to fit it in to the dash of the car,making the glove box shorter inside with a new panel fitted ,a standard glove box won't go back in .
