Hi all,

Anyone have any tips on an easy way to bolt seats back into a panel van once new underlay & carpet have been layed? With the thickness of the stuff it is very awkward trying to get the seat bolts in, there has to be an easier way!!

It does suck. Theres not really anyway around the fact that it sucks as far as I know but I did find it easier to get all the carpet in place where you want it then get someone to reach under and poke something like a screwdriver through the holes from un

what i did was put longer bolts from the underside facing up. tapped the carpet down around the bolts. put the seat in and put nuts in and tighten them up. with the seat in place and tight. now take out one bolt and put it the right way thru the seat and

Ssweet, thanks for the help guys, will see how I go. My Sandman project is well on its way. All finished with the panel beater now and looking good!
How do you upload photos like that to this site?

Its very easy. Just join photobucket - http://photobucket.com/ and upload photos to your account. Its all free and easy as!
Once youve uploaded a photo youll see the IMG code at the bottom. Just click on that and it automatically copies, then just paste

hmm, it doesnt seem to work, just says upload failed. Will try again another time!!
