Hi i have a ht gts with a 307 in it and i want to know if the ofset steel emgine mount adaptors are to have the ofset towards the front so the engine sits about 1/2 inch forward, i have 307 sag sal combo but the 53.7 inch t/sharft looks short. When on hoist aprox 1.5 inch of lathed sharft out of g/box and when on ground 2 inch of sharft out, standard springs. There is a total of 4 inches of sharft so is only 2 in ok?

Garry look back in archives as these mounting blocks have been discussed previously. They are different heights and I think it was said that the taller goes on the drivers side to give more clearance.
If this is the case it would push the engine back abo

Thanhs for that oily, i done a search and found that info so the tall one goes on the RHS so to give the steering box more clearance and that will put back engine about 3/4 inch. Garry
