They had a LC 161s GTR.
LC 173'S GTR came in july 1971. but no 173's GTR in LJ, it only got the std 202 motor GTR.
The LC had the 138. but it must of, went to a 130 in july 1971. with a LJ 130 to.
I have only seen the 2280 badges. no other.
Any one know the truth about theis. in australia.

HI Rosie.

The 2850 (138) was used in both LC & LJ Toranas up until early 73 when the 2850 (173) became standard. After that it was used in export only for LJ & LH.

The 130 (2160) was used for export only in HK/HT/HG/HQ & LC/LJ.

It seems weird. i have seen the 138 2250 in LC torana.
I have a holden HQ series owner manual. showing the 130 cid export motor. so i have always thought the 130, 173, 202 motors went in to production from july 1971. and the (2250) 138, 161, 186 were all

So the 138 motor in the pre july LC torana must have, the old type spark plugs, and adjustable rockers with the same as 161 head. and from july 71 on will have the same as 173 head. with those type plugs and rockers.
I just can't see, holden's bean count
