A mate has the ability of finding injected 202 vks. Has at least two of them all complete. Wondering what an unlisenced one may be worth and whether you can run it on unleaded. Thinking of slotting an injected 202 in a UC torana. Maybe with a vk 5speed. Are those boxes any good. Any advice on injected 202 good and bad points would be great. Nissan 3.0 conversions not suiterd to this bush mechanic. Thinking efi202 would be easier.

Yes you can run it on unleaded, but you'd need to put additive in with every tank. I think VK's were the last of the leaded cars?
They're horrible for gremlins to be honest, but when they're working, they're sweet cars. |

The VK EFIs are great for conversions to earlier Holdens. The VH/VK 5 speed are weak as. This is why they only fitted them behind the 2.85L VHs and not the 202 VHs. They wont handle the power of the EFI 202. I have regularly picked up running EFI VKs f

EFI valves are the same as a carby VK 3.3 I thought? So is the crank? And a VK EFI cam is a reasonable cam to start with - Campbell that reminds me I have to send you the EFI cam profile. Will try to do tonight.

Sounds like a good conversion. I could not belive how smooth the efi202 is when i went in my mates car. Maybe a m21 might do the trick for a gearbox. Thanks alot.

M20 will be better behind a 202. No difference in strength either.

If your really set on a manual. Fit one. But I have had a few EFI VKs, and IMHO they are great with the Trimatic, fitted with a Gemini torque converter. With 225/50/16 tyres I ran a 3.08 LSD rear. The VK was like an over sized Go kart. The Gemini conve

iv converted my ute to vk efi. Its simple and creates a much nicer car to drive. I find my that the torque gain from the swap makes 1st gear in the m20 not needed half the time. The difrnt ratios in the m21 would be intresting to try.
