hey fellas.. just wondering if anybody could give some advice on removing the plastic shroud around the steering coloum as i'm stumped, got all the other stuff of just not the shroud, i snapped my indicator wand and sort of need to put a new one in...
also on tues i sent my car into mikes dyno tuning in dandenong, for a srat i was only getting half throttle my timing was out and i was running rich, went in with 138.9kw@5263/741Nm@3887 at the wheels and came out wed with 192.5kw@6139/914.6Nm@3987... propably the best 350 bucks i ever spent on performance thats for sure, so this sunday i'm off to calder park to see what 1/4 mile time i get then change the diff to 3.9:1 and try again at the moment it has a 2.92:1 in it... but i definately need help with the indicator.. before i smash something by mistake.. cheer, thomas

Remove the steering wheel and then there's 4 philips head screws to remove, this will let you remove the first part of the shroud.

From memory the XD indicator stalk will slot in. Just check the wiring plug to make sure it's the same.

yeah i went back out after i posted and sort of figured it out.. i'm used to mazdas and toyotas which have screws everywhere, i scored a zh fairlane indicator unit for twenty bucks, is a little lose but works ok.. chur for the reply tho, i hope the b boos

Brake boosters aren't so hard to get out. You just need to be a bit limber getting your hands up in under the dash.
