It seems Toyota will do anything to get sales these days.
I have it on good authority that Toyota were trying to backdoor Holden Elizabeth employees and were offering them a higher staff discount on the purchase of a Toyota instead of Holdens.

The Green car company that boasts about their flagship Hybrid Prius
is also having issues with their batteries lasting on average 2+ years at a high cost to the owners to replace.
They currently have a huge warehouse in the States of faulty/dead batteries and Toyota are finding it difficult to dispose of them because of the content in them.

Go Green....Go Toyota ----------> NOT!!!
