Hey Guys, First time writer but certainly not the first time I have searched these pages for answer to questions!

Anyway I have a power steering box that wont stop leaking from the flare at the connection to the box. I have replaced the nipple in the box but still no luck. is there ment to be a rubber seal there as well. I have searched for hrs. trying to find an exploded view of the box and all seals, but to know avail, hence my writings can any one help...

If you are in Sydney or able to get there get it rebuilt by Dr Terry if its leaking from the box itself. If its just the connection note that there are two types of seals on the pumps so there may also be two different types of box seal as well. Again a c

Im in Adelaide. It is just the connection box is fine it is leaking from between the flair and nut, I was told that replacing the nipple inside the box would fix the problem, The nipple I pulled out was rooted. but there was no seal so I assumed that it w

Hey guys,

First I need to clarify, The box is out of a HZ Statesman, but it is in my HJ tonner, refer pic on left.

Found the problem. Its not the conection, its the High pressure hose. Found that it has a crack in the metal surround up higher and a

Just had a thought I know that Ford used the same steering box in the X series falcons does anyone know if the high pressure line is the same, (do the use the same pump as well?

FYI,

I ended up buying a hose from DRW Automatics at Lonsdale here in Adelaide for $85.00. the only thing was the connection at the pump was different, aparently they changed from the HZ onwards, luckily they had the right part there! Screwed out the o
