I have an American coupe import with rare (and heavy glass) Getting replacement stuff ex USA will be difficult and costly. Does anyone know of glass polishers in Perth who could do this successfully? The glass has tiny pit marks uniformly accross it.

The general rule of thumb with glass polishing windscreens if you can feel it with your finger nail it is too deep and trying to polish it out will give you distortions. Have you tried some of the Australian Glass suppliers, as there are some here that d

obriens may have one they recently shut down their factory but might have one in stock still.

it depends on the glass itself, how bad the pitting is. if it is laminated, pitfil resins are used but can warp and distort the glass. polishing will not remove pitting.. toughened glass will not warp or distort under uv light. pitfil resins may not be av
