This may be a stupid question, but was a twin headlight front an option on the HJ Monaro? Also does anyone have a picture of a Chamois interior as mine is supposed to be but is kind of a mixture of black and brown inside and its a bit confusing as to what to take out and leave in.
Cheers

HJ LS Monaro came standard with twin front. GTS Monaro (coupe and 4 door) only had single.

So if mine had the trim code 1894-60V does that mean it has the same inserts as the one in the pictures from the link you gave.

Should be the same, in Warren & Bens book it states early production HJs had Beige/Chamois for 60V, later was Chamois/Covert one of them would be the man to tell you when the changeover occurred. Leroy

I am thinking of doing the same, going black. The last one I had was black interior and it looks much better. Do you think this decreases the appeal and value of the car by not having original interior colours? Cheers Peter

Depends if you are going for originality and resale value, I did mine for myself and to drive. I dont intend to sell it, but if a decent offer was made, who knows?

Yeah me too. I brought mine coz I regretted selling the last one and I think they are an awesome bit of kit. This ones for me and the wife and not for resale, so I suppose it would be alright. Plus if want it to be original I can always change it back.
