Hi all,
Needing to update my daily driver to a 7 seater wagon, the missus would like something a bit newer. Ive noticed that there are stacks more dedicated LPG or dual fuel Ford EL AU BAs around than VS VT VX VY Commodores. One dealer told me it was because a straight 6 like the ford motor responds much better to LPG than the V6 Commodore. I was just wondering if the dealer was talking crap or was making a valid point?? Any assistance from those who might have a dual fuel V6 Commodore for example and can give some feedback on what it's like would be great.
Thanks
Peter

I operate 8 AU fords on gas (duel fuel) and bought fords as they are the most used in the Taxi industry, running up to a million kms on same motor, some of mine have reached 700,000 and still fine, generally the commodores have not been to the same standa

Thanks for the comments guys, well the gas fitters I called also backed up the theory that Fords respond to the conversion better than Commodores, there basis was they have far less complaints about power loss from Ford owners than Commodore owners. So w |
