Folks,

Looking to put aircon in the HJ gts. Talking to local air dude, he reckons easiest way forward is to find the factory evaporator, ducting and controls (basically everything from the firewall back) and build from there.

Can anyone help? Tried a few wreckers and most have ditched their old Holden stuff as it took up too much room .....

cheers

j

easiest way is to put one of the underdash hang on units but looks ugly, neatest is faxtory. cheapest is to buy a car with it all in and swap the bits over, then flog off the rest to get some money back. Tip...dont use the original compressor, they work g

Been trying to find examples of either - not a lot of joy at this stage.

Sounds cool. Compressor and lines not so dramatic (certainly by time shipped to NZ).
Was the under dash unit feeding into standard ducting or completely separate? How much shipped to Wellington NZ?
