Ok, heres the story. I was looking for a coupe to restore, so I emailed a guy in South Africa who had a restored Monaro shell for sale. Missed out on the Monaro, but got an email from him today offering a Fairmont GT for 95,000 South African Rand or $15,400 plus import costs. Needs restoration and may not have the original engine. As I have bought a Landau I am no longer in the market.I have a picture which I can email, as I don't know how to attach it here. The contact details of the owner are below, but remember I don't know the guy from a bar of soap.

- It is a matching number car.
- Suspect that it has had an engine change though.

I have dealt with this bloke over 2 Chev SS's & 2 Monaro's. The 3 out of the 4 were what I expected but the 4th (and most expensive) was pretty disappointing. Also some minor parts missing off the inventory (didn't arrive & fobbed off with some pathetic e

Thanks Rob, he keeps sending me vehicles to consider even though I have told him I am out of the market. He sent me a picture of a early model factory 350 monaro today. (HG, HT, HK not quite sure) Looks great, mags etc, although not very original. No pric

I brought all cars "as is" no worries, my gripe is you didn't deliver all the parts on the asset lists you sent,as per emails and your lack of response. I think the posts on the south african muscle car site concerning yourself & "Kash" pretty
