hi all, i am thinking of selling 1975 Hj kingswood, just wondering if anyone is intersting, looking for at least 3 grand. white sedan 202 dual fuel gas/petrol electronic dizzy power steering aircon unit just needs underdash unit to complete 5 speed manual (celica gear box) brown interior neat central locking twin light nose cone with GTS guards bucket seats cd head unit with speakers quite a bit of money has been put into this car, but selling due to dont have time to finsih project to how i would like it, car needs respray front currently in prima, body is white, no majour rust very straight car please note that i am just lookin at the moment to see if ppl would be willing to buy, and if i will be able to get waht i am looking for or if its to much or even not enough any advice would be greatly appreciated please reply to post or email me [email protected]cheers Luke

without being intentially rude, maybe kingswood prices will return to realistic levels, rather than everyone trying to ride the back of the "muscle car boom"
I wish I hadve kept all the shells ive had over the years, but "i wishes" are counterproductiv

Not the Kingswood!!! dont give people ideas like this! im tryin to sell mine!!!!! us "muscle car" owners need to make sure the value stays up!!!!! (not ridiculous prices) but surely we can get back what we have spent (less the man hours)! do Edited by user Tuesday, 28 October 2008 4:19:43 AM(UTC)

I agree that the prices should stay at a level reflecting the rarity, or value of the vehicle, but it irks me that cars that went to the crushers a few years ago, now suddenly are worth "something" because of the prices of the true rare vehicles.

thanks guys, looks like ill be keepin it then. i do agree duzty, the amount of money put into cars like this should reflect a bit in the sale price, i mean ive easily spent 3-4 grand on the mods i have done, i paid 2 grand for it about 18months ago was ju

i mean, my HQ has had well over 30k spent on it over the years, however im only asking 22k, and to build a car to what mine is now, would cost 35k+ +man hours.... and im only selling it because i need a ute for my bike! Edited by user Friday, 31 October 2008 11:08:35 PM(UTC)

A mate of mine spent about $65K+ on his HQ Premier--- BBC, tubbed,cage, Autometer dash, etc and only got $26K for it when it sold????
