I am looking at building a 351c but am not sure where to start. I would like to get around 400-450hp. I want it to be a strong and reliable engine at a good price. Fairly new to this so any help would be appreciated

I'm not the man to give you advice on building engines but i was building myself a long rod 351 (uses 302 rods and special pistons).
I sourced a virgin cleveland block and a 4MA crankshaft which i still have and are for sale if it interests you ?

Thanks i will look into the pavtec engines. They seem pretty reasonably priced. Has anyone here dealt with them before?

What I have discovered building engines is the law of diminishing returns.
Each extra horsepower costs abit more than the last horsepower cost.
If you know(or have a engine builder who knows)what your doing you can get a fairly reliable 400hp out of a
