Hey dudes is it possible to have a HZ Holden v8 differential shortened and if so can anyone recommend a place to have the axle cut and machined in Qld.
I'd like it to be 60mm shorter on each side as I want to run it in another vehicle. This vehicle has already been setup to use the HQ disc brakes up front and uses a 253 engine.
I know its not a Ford but all older cars are basically the same you know a diff, tailshaft, 4 wheels, gearbox and an engine.

You don't get a differential shortened as this would just mean that you need a longer tailshaft you get them narrowed to fit in a car that is not as wide.
You get the axles shortened and the housing narrowed.
