hi guys i just need some1 to tell me if theres a diff between a cleveland and 302 windsor bellhousing???

I assume you are referring to manuals? I believe they are the same as I had a toploader from an XB and just bolted it up to a Windsor.

302superbird, what size tailshaft do you have? Whats it out of? Im in the process of changing from a single rail to a toploader but want to know if i need a different tailshaft.

From memory, the splines should be the same (28), unless your Top Loader is a 31 spline output shaft, which also has the longer extension housing. Just check your splines and length.

With auto's the bellhousing is a bit bigger on the Cleveland than it is on a Windsor so the starter motor is about 1/2 inch further away from the centre of the crank. You can use either bellhousing on either engine as long as you get the flex plate and sa
