in response to "explain" i know that it seems like the minority take over but in the case of car clubs the majority just want to enjoy their cars, not worry about poltics ,so the majority just vote and give the complainers what they want. Its easier that

Hello there Nick, i read your post but it seems to have disapered. I was at the nats at ballarat and think that the vic club did a good job. I went ther not expecting a prize allthough i got the lucky draw prize at Loxton so that was all i could hope for,

There is a system that was developed for the 2000 event. It was then used at the 2002, 2004 and 2006 event. It is not mandated to use this system at each nationals. As has been pointed out, it is not like the FaLcon GT nationals system for sever

Also they had entrant/people chioce in 1998, you had to vote on 7 different models and three classes, with cars parked all over the place, it was a disaster. How you were suppose to remember the best 21 cars at a poi

TBH the rest of the world dont care about the internal party politics of what happens in victoria....

on a final note...

How about if all prospective entrants knew well before the event what the various classes are and what the critical considerations are in each class. The owner can enter the class they consider best represents their car. Assuming every one knows the clas

Well after reading all the posts up to this spot, some very good points on why Ballarat event was such a mess. I have attended all 6 events since 1998, and this was definatley a dissapointment. All three first events held by the MCCOV at Wangaratta, 3 top
