Have just found a CL Drifter Panel Van AND Utility (matching white with blue decals) sitting under a blokes house, still trying to make him see reason and part with them (very very old guy with "Plans")

I have a white Drifter ute - in pieces as it was pretty rusted as well. They only made 110 utes and about 400+ vans. What configuration was the ute?

Near my place theres a HK Monaro, a HT GTS Monaro 186S and a HQ GTS 308 4spd Coupe all rusting away under trees in different peoples yards (just like that Torana). I have inquired about them, but none of them want to sell.

Cheers
Mark

Though this is an American site it has some great images of cars that should have been restored waaaaaay back... Too late for most of them now!

All too often we see these cases...and in almost all cases, the owner never wants to part with the car.

www.carsinbarns.com is a great, if painful and sad sight...and when you read the stories, almost all of them have the same result. Owner wont sell.

Hi Holdenon,
from the little he has let me get near to it, the ute looks to be a 6cyl floor shift, the van is a V8 four speed, and they are in pretty good shape, is there a register of vehicles left now, or a Drifters club anywhere?
