Hi folks,

Have been going over some old ads on the web. The remembered one real hard one. I cant find it.

(1) Does anyone here remember the brand of fuel that ran commercials talking about "finding cousin charlie" some guy called Brewster was following him around all the servos and just missing him, maybe Caltex or Shell, not sure. It was the 70s, long hair, mutton chops, and plaid shirts etc.

(2) Was the above commercial the same one that kept referring to every noise a car made as "its the diff" ?

I dont know that one but I do remember the petrol add with a a open top vintage sports car with the song `in my machine` Amaco, that was early 70`s

Yep thats the AMOCO commercial..That ones on youtube. It still sounds good. I guess I will keep waitin to see if anyone recalls the other commercial. Cheers J

I do remember "Its the diff" but I cant remember what ad it was (craft disease).
